The WORDS Project is led by a team of early childhood researchers and methodologists from the University of California, Irvine, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, University of Iowa and Texas A&M University, in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Education, and with partnership from the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools.
